History

Founded by two best friends Cliff and Nader in 2006 after realizing there was a lack of surf/skate shops in the area. They began surfing at 2nd Street in Pompano Beach, Florida when they were just ten years old which gave them the perfect reason to name the store 2nd St.. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, making it extremely accessible to beach goers and to just about anyone else. Cliff and Nader are both always here or near if you ever need help with anything surf talk ranging from what board you need, to what wax is the best. If there is swell you can even catch them out there today!

2nd St. Surf Shop has been a cornerstone for the surf and skate community here in Broward County/surrounding areas. We also have had the privilege of sponsoring local athletes who have competed in competitions all over the country. We have been in business for over 16 years helping locals and tourists alike!
